The world needs Xibalba NFT
Created in the heart of the Mayan jungle, the first collection of digital assets, with the aim of preserving and conserving the cenotes in Yucatan.
The problem
The bad use of cenotes
And the lack of information of the people when treating their waters is a factor that destroys hundreds of cenotes, natural areas and everything that is inside them, in the same way another factor that generates this loss of works of art in the peninsula is the prostitution and inappropriate use for their empowerment as massive tourist projects that practically destroy and deteriorate all the beauty that exists inside these natural museums that are still alive today.
These actions cause the destruction of hundreds of true works of art that nature has been building for thousands of years in the subsoil, in Zazil Tunich we have been rescuing and rehabilitating a Cavern-Cenote for 12 years, today converted into a true NATURAL MUSEUM
Currently, humanity values being in contact with nature more than spending time in the city, which leads different explorers wanting to discover the different ways in which nature is presented, any portion of land that is preserved as it was created by nature, has more value in these times
In the entire Yucatan peninsula there is an average of 8,000 thousand cenotes, let us remember that in this peninsula there are no visible rivers, practically the cenotes are the ones that store fresh water, therefore they are extremely important for the lives of this area.
The solution
Real world impact from web3
Xibalba NFT is a new way to preserve and be a custodian of
thousands of
works of art that nature has built. Through a cenote-museum full of history and culture, this new approach
connects you with nature, to create an impact on the real world through Web3 and a place where we can
interact from
anywhere in the world through the metaverse.
With Xibalba NFT we are creating a network of custodians, who protect and help coordinate as a team the
activities that have to be carried out to preserve these places.
All under the same purpose, to preserve our planet. We see in the future a Yucatan Peninsula more aware of the use of the cenotes, more aware of what it symbolizes, we are in time to preserve these works of art that nature has formed for millions of years, we are still in time to be able to tell their incredible stories and all that mysticism that the cenotes keep inside behind its stalagmites created by water over the years.
